The anti-Monday, the mood lifter, the day that feels a lot brighter.

Folks, it's PRINT DAY!

And today, I printed a couple of games that take very different routes. One is an RPG I discovered through the 2026 One-Page RPG Jam on Itch, while the other is a solo card game that throws me all the way into the year 2089!

Wow. That's 63 years from now. I'll be 96 years old IF I make it that far...!

Shrugging that thought off, let's get to know these games! Not gonna keep either of them a secret like I usually do, so you can chill.

A glimpse of ‘Overclock’

Straight outta 2089!

Okay, first stop: the future.

Overclock is a solo card game set in 2089, where humanity’s planetary neural network, known as the Spine, is being erased by a rogue program called the Kill-Code. You play as Ghost, a netrunner racing to rebuild the network before there’s nothing left to save.

There are 36 cards in total. That includes 24 node/item cards, a starting node, Ghost, four trap cards, four factions, and a couple of tracker cards. That’s a decent variety of cards. Interesting...

And man, I already LOVE how this one looks!

The whole game has this retro-tech aesthetic going on. Pixel-y text, computer screens, exposed circuitry, wires, ports sticking out from the sides of cards... they look like parts of a machine. Even without knowing what every single card does yet, just looking over the printed sheets makes it feel like I’m about to piece together some enormous digital network.

I’ll save all the mechanical digging for when I actually play it. For now, I’m feasting my eyes on the artwork before I dive into the rules and, of course... building them cards!

Follow the campaign of Overclock to stay in the loop when it goes live.

NEXT, from the year 2089, to a bunch of magical musicians trying not to get executed. QUITE the jump!

A glimpse of ‘Forbidden Bards at Mungevania Music Festival’

An RPG with a GM!

Forbidden Bards at Mungevania Music Festival is an RPG I discovered through the 2026 One-Page RPG Jam on Itch. You play as a band of magical Bards looking for their next big break at a music festival in the Kingdom of Mungevania.

Tiny problem, though: magic folks are completely illegal there.

So before you can even think about performing, your band has to get into the kingdom, make the journey to the festival, and somehow avoid giving away the fact that you’re magical!

The setup is quite simple. You need 3 to 5 people, some paper and pencils, and four D6 dice. One player becomes the GM (Game Master, for those who don’t know), while everyone else creates a Bard before coming together to give the band a name.

Bards are naturally great at Bard-y things like music, charm, language and the arts, while being pretty terrible at almost everything else. You’ve also got this Magical Aura that makes the group easier to detect the more magic they use.

The best part? It's a one-page RPG with a second page of optional extras if you want a little more to work with.

I have absolutely no idea what kind of band my friends and I will end up creating, but I already know what I’d want to call it: “NOT a Magical Band.

Very subtle :P

Forbidden Bards at Mungevania Music Festival is free to download as part of the 2026 One-Page RPG Jam on Itch.

That’s it for this Print Day!

See you on the next one 😎
