It’s that time of the week!
And fortunately for my printer, it only had one game to deal with this time. But it’s a GOOD one.
I’ve been waiting quite a while to get this to the table, so the instant I got the files, I knew it was going to be a good old print day.
Any guesses? Don’t worry, I’m not going to keep you hanging this time.

It’s Roll 4 MORE Rum, the successor to Roll 4 Rum!
I remember when Roll 4 Rum launched on Gamefound back in November 2024, and it was on FIRE. Not only because the roll-and-write seemed awesome to play, but also because of the YLA, the year-long adventure where a fresh map was released EVERY month.
Way to redefine replayability! That, and commitment from its creator, Florian Fiedler. Hats off.
Fun fact, I have only played Roll 4 Rum “visually.”
Meaning, I watched a good number of people play it on YouTube. I specifically remember enjoying Sir Thecos' playthrough video that started with rolling 3 sixes, haha.
Roll 4 Rum might be the only PnP from Florian that I haven’t played. The games he released later, Rook & Ruin, VoidRoll, and Essence: The Grim Expeditions, have all visited my table and have been among my favorites. So expectations are sitting pretty high for this one!
The artwork is an absolute standout. Kudos to the talented Allefer Souza!

As for the game itself, Roll 4 MORE Rum has you sailing across dangerous waters, collecting resources, visiting ports, hiring crew, chasing treasure, and trying to visit enough ports before sailing toward your final destination. Each round, dice are split between Fate, Sail, and the Maelstrom, which means you are not just moving around a map. You are constantly deciding how much control you want, how much risk you can handle, and how badly you want that next bit of rum.
And with captains, crew abilities, Fortune cards, Glory quests, Krakens, curses, and a spreading Maelstrom, this looks PACKED!
I missed out on Roll 4 Rum when it first sailed out, but I’m very glad to have Roll 4 MORE Rum on my table now.
Can’t wait to play it and share my take with you folks!
