Three unique games set to make their move

Call me Sauron the gift bringer, for I’m back with more updates on print and play games set to kick off 2026 on the right note!
Following up on issue#41 (first issue of the year) where I walked through three solid games set to go live on crowdfunding campaigns, I have three more to talk about.
The best part being, they are the polar opposite of one another!
Red Dungeon
Red Dungeon pulls you into a grim underground world where slavery has ruled for generations. As the leader of a rebellion, your task is clear. Gather gold and crystals, build machines, steal keys, and sabotage the guards before the next wave of repression hits.
This is a strategic PnP for 1-4 players built around tactical choices, action board combinations, and a core system driven by a standard 52-card deck. Designed by Krzysztof “Sparker” Pietrzak, it’s a focused, tension-filled experience where planning ahead matters just as much as reacting in the moment.
My last attempt at a deck-driven game was 52 Duels by Postmark Games, and I’m excited to see what Red Dungeon has to offer!
Harbor of Blight: Scenario Zero
Ever had a solo RPG adventure? My first experience was In the Blink of a Dragon’s Eye, and it felt surreal. The combination of mini games and a novella was refreshing, and I’ve been looking forward to a similar experience since then. Lucky for me, Michael Parziale might have created yet another masterpiece!
Scenario Zero invites you into the grand city of Obsidian on the eve of Founder’s Day, a celebration built around tradition, symbolism, and three small gifts known as thrices. This year, something’s gone wrong. The thrices are missing, whispers are spreading, and it’s up to you to uncover the truth before the city’s trust slips away.
In this standalone solo-first adventure, you’ll explore the city, follow clues, test your skills, and uncover lore as you work toward proving yourself worthy of joining the Hunter’s Guild.
I just got the digital book for the game (64 pages!) and I can't wait to get started. A PnP version will be up for grabs as a pledge level.
Capture the Bald Yeti
Capture the Bald Yeti is a lighthearted card game that puts you in the boots of a not-so-prepared hunter chasing a legendary creature through snowy chaos. Armed with questionable gear and big ambition, you’re after one thing only. The Bald Yeti!
Designed by Kev Brett, this is a fast-paced, pick-up-and-play experience where traps get laid, plans get ruined, and rivals get in the way. Goats will eat your traps, other hunters will steal your gold, and avalanches will come crashing down while you scramble to come out on top.
It’s cheeky, chaotic, and built for laughs. A family-friendly card game where nothing ever goes exactly as planned, and that’s half the fun. Like Scenario Zero, a PnP version will be available as a pledge level.
These games are already on my table, and my full verdict will be out in the coming weeks!
