BIG news for the PnP Community

Last issue, I talked about the PnP Arcade shift to Substack. And yeah, I’m happy they’re still doing their thing. But it also left a gap.
Because for a lot of us, PnP Arcade was not just “a site.” It was where you discovered games. Where new designers popped up. It felt like a living, breathing space.
So I said it out loud. What fills that space now?
Turns out, the community did. Right on time.
Enter PnP Stash!
It’s a brand new platform created by game designers Robin Metz and Florian Fiedler, built to give print-and-play creators a proper place to publish, get discovered, and keep momentum going after the PnP Arcade shift.
Robin put it better than I did:
"The PnP scene has always been the soul of the board and tabletop hobby for me; a space where indies, creatives, and wonderful weirdos come together to build, share, and experiment. PnP Stash is meant to be their new home: a hub for DIY spirit, community, and the simple joy of making and playing."
What PnP Stash is trying to solve
PnP Stash is not just another place to upload files. It’s clearly built with designers in mind, especially indie designers who do not want to fight friction just to get their games out there.
One of the big ideas behind it is what they call the “Instant” dashboard. In short, it cuts down the waiting time before a game goes live.
Further, designers get more control. You create your vendor profile, upload your files, and manage your page in real time. There’s also a dedicated dashboard to track sales and downloads instantly.
If you’re a designer, you know it’s a BIG deal.
And if you’re a player, more games get published faster, updated faster, and discovered more easily.
Win-win!

And from Florian, on why PnP Stash exists in the first place:
"I know there are many designers out there who want their games seen. I built this platform to give indie designers the professional tools they need. Whether it’s through curated bundles, better discovery, contests or resources, I want PnP Stash to remove the barriers so designers can focus on creating and eventually support their living doing it."
Human-first creativity
PnP Stash is a no-AI-art platform. And that’s quite a statement.
This hobby is built on people. Illustrators. Graphic designers. Designers who spend hours shaping how a game looks and feels like.
So it feels only fitting!
The community side of things
Through PnP Stash, Robin and Florian are planning regular community design contests, along with curated game bundles and shared resources. The goal is simple: help games get discovered and played.
Early days, but a strong start
PnP Stash is officially only a day old!
That said, I’m already seeing titles on the platform that I’ve played. I’ve also noticed some discounts, which is awesome. It’s already buzzing!
I’m going to spend more time browsing and playing, and I’ll probably highlight a few games from PnP Stash in a future issue. If this really is the torch being passed, I want to help point people toward the good stuff.
I’ll leave you with something Robin and Florian said that truly captures the moment:
"We aren't trying to replace the memories of the Arcade; we are just picking up the torch to make sure the light stays on. We are excited to see what we can build together. See you in the Stash."
