PnP updates: Wrapping up January
New launches, unexpected turns, and welcoming February

January is packing its bags, and I am sliding in with a few last-minute PnP updates before February kicks the door down.
Blood Economy just went live
A new game popped up on Gamefound and it has been living in my head ever since I saw it.
Blood Economy is a solo vampire card game where you manage a little “menu” of thralls. Keep them around for abilities, or devour them for blood when survival demands it. The game has a small card count, different vampires to play as, scenarios to keep things spicy, and a playtime that does not overstay its welcome.
I have not played it yet, but the theme is really enticing, and I love seeing indie designers stepping up into the PnP realm, so check it out if it's your thing!
PnP Arcade at Substack?
Okay, this one surprised me a bit.
PnP Arcade is shifting gears in 2026 and moving their weekly Print and Play Friday posts to Substack. They are still doing new releases and features, but instead of hosting games like before, they will be pointing readers to where games can be found across the internet. They also teased bigger spotlights, recommendations, publisher highlights, and more community focus.
So, now you got another newsletter to keep an eye on. Yay? ;)
But where do indie designers host their PnP games now? Is anyone working on a dedicated solution? Hmm…
What I am eyeing for February
My February queue is looking delicious.
I think it starts with the launch of One Card Dungeon: Hell’s Door. After that, I have my eyes on Harbor of Blight: Scenario Zero, Red Dungeon, Capture the Bald Yeti, and Essence.
Which one should I cover first? I'm publishing a review blog tomorrow. Keep an eye?
May February be packed with everything wonderful for all of you! More games, less chaos.
