Be the villain for once?

A free PnP where the hero is your problem

You know how we almost always play as the hero?

Charging into dungeons. Slaying monsters. Saving the day.

Well… what if you’re the villain for once?

That's exactly what Oh My Lair does.

You play as the dungeon lord, and the hero is marching toward you. Not to negotiate. Not to talk. To end you.

Your job? Stop him!

It’s a solo print and play where you roll five dice and allocate them across different sectors. You use them to conquer regions, collect gold, conduct research, and summon creatures strong enough to stop the hero before he reaches your throne.

It sounds simple, right? It isn’t.

Every round feels like a small puzzle. Do you focus on gathering gold so you can summon better creatures? Do you attack early and try to control regions? Do you research first so stronger options open up later?

And then there’s the tension. The hero keeps advancing. Slowly. Inevitably...

The game uses five dice, but it never felt like pure luck. Yes, you roll. But the real game is in how you use those rolls. Where you commit. What you delay. What you sacrifice.

It plays in about twenty minutes, but it packs more decisions than you’d expect from two printed sheets and a handful of dice.

And it’s free!

If you’re new to print and play, this is a great entry point. And even if you're not, it still holds up. I still go back to it from time to time.

Sometimes, it feels good to be the villain!
