And LAUNCH!
Releasing my first-ever PNP
I did it!
From conceptualizing the game, drafting and testing it, to digitizing and playtesting further, writing and designing the manual, developing the tutorial, and finally launching it on Itch.io - 6 months felt like an eternity!
To top it off, I’m thrilled to share that I just landed my first sponsor for the newsletter!
Okay, one at a time. Here we go.

Boom!
Escape the Living Library | My first-ever PNP
It’s been quite a while since I wanted to publish PNP games. I’ve developed 10 board games for both commercial and grassroots initiatives in Bangladesh, and I’ve been really eager to take my work to the international arena. So alongside blogging about PNP games, I was always immersed in the process of creating one.
And I know I’m not the only one!
I’ve spoken with countless game enthusiasts who dream of launching their PNP games. That’s why I made it a point to be as transparent as possible in the design diary I’ve been keeping since the very beginning of the game’s creation. It’s available on Board Game Geek and my website - check it out if you’re curious about how the game evolved over the course of 6 months. I hope it can help you make impactful decisions when creating your own game!
Tons of revisions were made to the game to get it to where it is now, and I’m really proud of how it’s turned out as a fun solo experience. Check it out if you’re interested. It’s available at Itch, and I’ve submitted the game for approval at PNP Arcade as well. Fingers crossed!
My secret formula
While creating games over the years, one thing has been highly impactful for me that I’d love to share with all of you: writing.
I have countless email threads with game publishers where we write about our experiences, this PNP newsletter you’re currently reading, and another one on LinkedIn centered around learning via gamification. I believe that writing about the things you're passionate about certainly helps you explore them more deeply. Which takes me to our sponsor. And I assure you this: you'll thank me later!
As you know, I’m sending the weekly newsletter through the BeeHiiv platform, which reached out to me earlier this week with a sponsorship proposal, including a limited-time offer for all my subscribers.
The offer? To enjoy a 30-day free trial + 20% OFF for 3 months!
I wish I had received this offer when I signed up, but I'm thrilled to make it available to you all! If you have a knack for writing, then go all in. Pour your heart out, and focus on what you are passionate about. Then start earning from it!
Make sure to invite me to your newsletter! Click the link below to get the special offer.
You’re welcome!
Till next week, gamers!
