Focusing on 3 PNP games
Right after a very eventful week where I launched my first-ever PNP, my team and I got indulged into 3 very promising games which are all currently live at Kickstarter/BackerKit. And to top it all- ALL of them are fully funded!
I had the chance to play all three games and have already published reviews for two of them. Hopefully, my insights will help you decide whether to back these games!
In a nutshell- I built a civilization, helped otters make friends, and tried to stop an asteroid from striking Earth!
I built a Civilization!

Chronicles of Civilization!
Chronicles of Civilization is my first go at a civilization development game, and I loved it! It’s a flip-and-write game designed by Radek Ignatów that got funded at Kickstarter at the blink of an eye! And rightfully so.
In a line, it’s a game that has depth, with involvement of little to no luck, and is quite repeatable!
The game truly made me feel like a ruler- balancing multiple ends not just to grow, but also to keep chaos at bay. As of today (March 31st), the game’s campaign has about 10 days left. Feel free to check it out by reading my review article; you’ll also find the campaign link there!
I helped otters make friends!

Otter!
Switching from a civilization development game, I landed on the most adorable game that I played lately- Otter! It’s a shedding card game for 1-4 players where you win by playing all the cards from your hands. Designed by Dylan Coyle and published by Charming Games Collective, the game has an amazing mechanism where you can manipulate multiple elements to bring things in your favor. In other words, there’s no one path or formula to win this game. You have to be aware of the opportunities that come your way each turn you play your cards.
The game had an unbelievable start to its campaign at BackerKit, and is now just four days away from ending! So, read its review article, and decide!
I tried to stop an asteroid from striking Earth!

Doomsday Manager
Doomsday Manager is a survival game- meaning that by the end of your hour-long session, you might not make it.
It’s a highly captivating solo PNP game where you’re putting multiple hats as you’re studying the asteroid, developing weapons to destroy it, keeping the media at check, securing funds, while also taking favors from some shady politicians! It’s still early days of my team and I playing Doomsday Manager, and it feels nothing short of a movie! I highly recommend setting up a dramatic playlist as you immerse yourself in an hour-long session, taking on the responsibility of saving our planet!
We’re aiming to publish the review article by the end of this week- feel free to check out the campaign in the meantime. The campaign is still in its early days, with 24 days left as of today.
That’s all for today. Till next week, gamers!
