A PNP Vacation to remember!
Travel the world in 15 mins
Do you love to travel but barely have any time?
What if I tell you that you can take a mini-vacation in under 15 minutes? That too with friends?
Got your attention? Let’s dig in!
A few weeks ago, I got introduced to Around the World in 15 minutes, a travel-themed strategy game where you explore countries/continents, collect souvenirs, visit landmarks and try to be the best at it! Being a lightweight game which promised replayability, I packed my bags (in spirit) and printed it out.
How it plays
In multiplayer, one player becomes the navigator each round and decides whether everyone will travel, explore sites, or collect souvenirs. Player with the highest point wins.
In solo mode, you use a Turn Tracker Sheet and have 20 turns or less to explore before scoring your trip. You try beat your previous best score.
The first edition lit up Kickstarter last year, and now the second edition is on a similar trajectory, with polished solo rules and a brand-new South America map!
My experience
My first few plays felt like luck was running the show. But by the third round, something clicked. Strategy started to pave its way through. Each route can only be used once, souvenirs and sites vary, and timing is everything. Points stack up in different ways, and planning ahead is what makes the game more strategic than I initially thought.
Between solo and 1v1, I’ll nudge towards 1v1. Being the navigator every other round added a fun twist; not only was I planning my own trip, but I was also studying my opponent’s map to slow them down. That said, solo mode still makes for a neat warmup before dueling a friend.
But, Replayable? Well…
Multiple Maps + Solo & Multiplayer Mode + Tons of ways to explore maps + Less than 15 minutes per round. Take a hint!
My first trip to South America!

Got to mention the South America Map Sheet separately, not just because it’s the newest addition to the game. Prior to getting this map, I mentioned in my blog how I saw tons of potential for the game to expand by introducing new elements to bag points, and the South America map did exactly that!
Through this Map, alongside bagging souvenirs, you explore wildlife and try snap photos of animals with varying levels of availability throughout South America- common, uncommon and rare. This adds an additional layer of strategy to the game, all the more reason to back the game while the campaign lasts!
…but, can you get on board?
As I’m about to hit publish on this newsletter, you have a little over 4 days left to back Around the World in 15 minutes. You know what to do!
